Women of the World

About the event

A WSU Common Reading event

Celebrating global folk traditions from Bulgaria to Brazil and Japan to Africa, this Boston-based international a cappella quartet performs original and traditional music from around the world, with a contemporary twist.

Each has a strong artistic identity shaped by the culture in which she grew up; each finds endless excitement in learning and exploring the many cultures of the world. The unique music that flows from this cross-pollination of genres, rhythms, and global sounds is borderless and spirited, carrying the undeniable message of unity.
