Washington Presidential Primary: Ballots Due Today

About the event

This presidential election year, the WSU Center for Civic Engagement is here to help your voice be heard on the important issues at stake – immigration, climate change, college access, health care, employment, income inequality, international relations, etc. The next President, selected on November 8, will have a significant impact on all of these issues and more.

While November is still a few months away, caucuses and primaries have already begun across the US to select the Republican and Democratic candidates for President. The Washington presidential primary is scheduled for May 24, so all registered voters will receive a standard ballot in the mail 18 days prior to the vote. To participate in the primary, you must be registered to vote by May 16. You do not need to declare a party before ballots go out. Ballots can be dropped off at the ballot box outside the CUB southeast entrance.

It’s your voice. It’s your vote. It’s your time to be heard.
