About the event

Begin this year’s WSU Dad’s Weekend by “Tasting Crimson” and sampling four Cougar-connected red wines during a tasting event Friday, Nov. 4, at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center before Washington State takes on Arizona Saturday, Nov. 5 in Martin Stadium.

The tasting will feature four distinct red wines – a cabernet sauvignon, merlot, Malbec and Syrah – each from a different winery connected to a Cougar alumni. The wine tasting will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center, 150 E. Spring St.

The visitor center will also be open throughout the weekend with extended hours for Dad’s Weekend and to assist Cougar fans with any pre-game inquiries or directions. The hours will be posted online at visitor.wsu.edu and may fluctuate once the kickoff time is set.

Enjoy spending the evening with Dad, other family and friends while sampling wines from Fidelitas, Coeur d’Alene Cellars, Wawawai Canyon Winery and William Church Winery. Tasting tickets for the event cost $5, include 1-oz. tastings of the four red wines and a commemorative glass while supplies last.

Attendees must be 21 or older to participate in the tasting and present with proper identification. Tickets are limited to one per person and sales begin at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center. For additional information call 509-334-INFO or email visitor@wsu.edu.
