Symphonic Band and Symphonic Wind Ensemble

Washington State University Bands proudly presents its first concert of the Spring 2016 semester, entitled “SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING BLUE.” The concert features a wide array of composers and settings for band and guests. The WSU Symphonic Band presents David Maslanka’s “Requiem”, a powerful new work for winds.

The WSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble proudly features
Dr. Jeffrey Savage as piano soloist on Franz Liszt’s “Totentanz”. A musical tour de force for piano and all members of the ensemble, it will bring the evening to a rousing finish!

This concert is open to the public and without charge.
