Student Recital: Anna Prykhodko, piano

About the event

An undergraduate piano student Anna Prykhodko will perform a recital featuring the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Robert Muczynski at 4:10 p.m. on Friday, November 18. The recital will be held at the Kimbrough Concert Hall, and it is free to the public.

Prykhodko began her music studies in Ukraine with Yuliya Kolesnichenko at the Mykola Lysenko Music School. When her family immigrated to the United States, Prykhodko continued her studies with Sue Piatt, Judy Baker, Debbie DeMiero, and Dr. Gerald Berthiaume. Currently, Prykhodko studies at the WSU School of Music with Dr. Jeffrey Savage.

Prykhodko is a first-place winner of the 2013 Russian Piano Festival/Competition and a recipient of the 2016-2017 Presser Foundation Undergraduate Scholar Award.
