Michael Dyson to speak on Civil Rights

About the event

Michael Eric Dyson will speak on January 29 at 7 p.m. and will present his speech called “Dr. King in the 21st Century”. Dyson’s speech will draw connections between Dr. King, the history of the Civil Rights Movement, and contemporary civil rights issues.

Dyson has taught at Brown University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Columbia and the University of Pennsylvania. He is a distinguished professor of sociology at Georgetown University.
