Make a Difference Day

About the event

Make a Difference Day is the largest national day of service in the United States. It is a day dedicated to caring for our communities and, this year, will take place on Saturday, October 22. According to the Make a Difference Day mission, “No matter who you are or where you’re from, everyone has the power to do something that improves the life of another.”

The WSU Center for Civic Engagement is facilitating a number of community service projects on this day so that WSU students can improve the lives of those around us. There are three CCE-led projects planned for Make a Difference Day, including projects with Orphan Acres, White Spring Ranch, and the Pullman Council on Aging. The CCE provides transportation for WSU students to these three projects. There are also numerous other opportunities throughout the Palouse listed on CougSync.
