Lunch & Learn: Transgender Patient Care

About the event

Transgender Patient Care with Gwendolyn Moscoe

SULÈ and WSU Spokane Student Affairs would like to present speaker and WSU graduate Gwendolyn B. Moscoe, PharmD, who will discuss providing health care to transgender individuals, those that vary from the twin poles of traditional gender norms. One of only two American pharmacist members of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), Moscoe has herself transitioned. She will present a framework and lexicon for gender variance, review the treatments available to patients pursuing gender confirmation, and explain how health care providers can optimally interact with transgender patients.

The Lunch & Learn series is sponsored by WSU Spokane Student Affairs with a grant from STCU. Lunches, (or (M)unches), are provided by WSU Student Affairs and ASEWU. Events occur every week with new topics and speakers each time. WSU Spokane students who RSVP to this event on CougSync by the day before the event will receive a free lunch. You can also RSVP at the Student Affairs window in the Academic Center. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

NOTE: If you RSVP after 9:00am the day of the event, you will not receive a lunch.  RSVP early!
