La CausaA WSU Common Reading event – FREE for WSU students!

“La Causa” tells the story of Marta Hernandez, the daughter of Mexican American migrant workers, and her life-changing involvement in the farmworkers’ movement led by Cesar Chavez in the 1960s and ’70s, which fought for civil rights and battled racism and indecent working conditions.

Experience this chapter of American history as one young woman balances the demands of her family and culture and fights to see her family freed of poverty.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at all TicketsWest outlets, including online at TicketsWest.com, by phone at 800-325-SEAT (7328), or at the Beasley Coliseum ticket office (open M-F 10-2 during the school year). Additional fees apply to online and phone orders. Advance tickets for WSU students may be picked up with valid ID at the Beasley Coliseum ticket office. Same-day tickets will be available at the Daggy Hall box office beginning 2 hours before the performance. Groups of 8 or more are eligible for a discount on regular adult/senior ticket prices; call 509-335-8522 for details.
