Kaha:wi Dance Theatre is one of Canada’s leading contemporary dance companies, exploring the intersection of indigenous and new dance performance. KDT was founded by artistic director Santee Smith, a leading Canadian choreographer known for meaningful, athletic, and earthbound movement language.

This special program will include “The Honouring,” a site-specific, multidisciplinary performance honoring First Nations warriors of the War of 1812 and the Onkwehonwe families who sacrificed to protect Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) sovereignty, culture, and land.

$22 – Adults; $18 – Non-WSU Students; $16 Youth under 16; Free for first 100  WSU Students w/ID. There will be no group rate.

Same-day tickets may be purchased at the venue box office beginning 2 hours before the performance, subject to availability. Free WSU student tickets may be picked up in advance only at Beasley Coliseum with valid ID.
