Hearts In Motion information session
About the event
Join us for an informational session about the 2017 Hearts in Motion alternative spring break program.
Students have the opportunity to participate in a well-established medical mission to Guatemala with the non-profit organization Hearts in Motion, whose mission is to provide care and medical treatment for children, families, and communities in the U.S., and Central and South America. This is a competitive program and includes a pre-screening phase. In particular, the program has a high need of students with intermediate to advanced Spanish-proficiency levels to help translate for other volunteers, including surgeons, dentists, nurses and other health care providers. Non-Spanish speakers with an interest in pursuing health professions are also invited to apply.
The meeting will be held in CUE 502.
