Martha Long, flute  with Sophia Tegart, flute  and Elena Panchenko, piano

Martha Long, principal flute of the Oregon Symphony, will perform a recital of works by Saint-Saint, Taktakishvili, Ganne, Hindemith, and Clarke. Joining her on stage will be pianist Elena Panchenko, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Flute Dr. Sophia Tegart. Ms. Long studied at The Colburn School with Jim Walker and the New England Conservatory of Music with Boston Symphony principal flute, Elizabeth Rowe. Prior to her appointment with the Oregon Symphony, Ms. Long held the position of principal flute in the San Antonio Symphony. This recital is sponsored by Tau Beta Sigma, the WSU Flute Studio, and Allegro.
