Gordon-Enberg Professional Series: Tom Farrey

About the event

Tom Farrey, a former ESPN and Seattle Times reporter, and current director of Aspen Institute’s Sports & Society program, will speak at Washington State University on Homecoming Friday.

His talk, “How to Get a Game On,” will start 4 p.m. on Friday, October 20, in Chinook 150. In it, he will share lessons about how to create a movement that addresses a complex social problem in communities.

Farrey is the author of Game On: The All-American Race to Make Champions of Our Children (2008, ESPN Books).

The event is part of the Gordon-Enberg Endowed Professional Series in Sport Studies. It is made possible by the Sport Management program in the College of Education, in cooperation with University Recreation and the Murrow College of Communication.
