Faculty Artist Series: Winter Spirits: Music for the Flute

In her first faculty recital at WSU since being appoint Clinical Assistant Professor of Flute, Dr. Sophia Tegart will perform a program full of hidden gems from the flute repertoire. The program includes works by celebrated women composers Sofia Gubaidulina and Katherine Hoover, as well as up-and-coming composer Nadine Dyskant-Miller. The program will be rounded out by French composer Philippe Gaubert and Nino Rota, the composer of film scores such as The Godfather and The Godfather II, and Franco Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet. Joining Dr. Tegart on the recital will be WSU Associate Professor of Music, Dr. Jeffrey Savage, on piano and Oregon Ballet Orchestra violinist, Casey Bozell.

General Admission: $10   Sr. Citizens & non-WSU Students: $5
WSU Students with ID: FREE
All proceeds from the sales of tickets will benefit the School of Music scholarship fund. Tickets are available in the lobby thirty minutes before concert time.
