ElectroAcoustic Mini-Festival

About the event

The WSU School of Music will host the inaugural WSU ElectroAcoustic Mini-Fest on Saturday, October 14 in Kimbrough Concert Hall. The one-day festival will feature composers and performers from Montana State University, University of Idaho, University of Central Missouri as well as WSU faculty and students. Three free performances will be held in Kimbrough Concert Hall at 11am, 2pm and 8pm. The evening concert will feature “Between Glimpses of Blue,” by WSU Music alum Ted King-Smith and “Monument III: Charleston, Summer of 2015” by festival coordinator Scott Blasco, performed by the WSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble under the direction of Danh Pham and featuring Music faculty soloists Sophia Tegart, flute; Keri McCarthy, oboe and Horace Alexander Young, saxophone. Additional lectures and conversations will complete the festival.
