April 14: Jaak Panksepp Symposium honoring the father of “Affective Neuroscience”

About the event

Come join us for a celebration of the scientific accomplishments of renowned Washington State University scholar Dr. Jaak Panksepp.

Dr. Panksepp is known worldwide as the father of “Affective Neuroscience”, a field of study that examines the neurobiological basis of emotions.  The focus will be on the science and its application, as Jaak would surely have wanted it to be.  Please join us for what will be an exhilarating and enlightening day.  The Symposium will be held April 14 at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.  At the following website, you will find more information on the national and international speakers that have been invited to participate.   Please RSVP at this site so that we can plan food for the event on Saturday.   We are looking forward  to honoring our colleague and friend who passed away unexpectedly last April.  Sponsored by the Department of Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience, College of Veterinary Medicine.  For more information contact bmorton@wsu.edu .
