The main event features fun hands-on activities, professional coaching and portfolio reviews, technology demonstrations, talks by creative thought leaders, giveaways, and free food for all registered attendees. Meanwhile, pre-selected student teams compete in a creative tournament to collaboratively develop a unique design solution using Adobe applications. The event concludes with student team presenting their final designs followed by an awards ceremony, which includes an audience-choice award. To-date, Adobe has hosted 107 tournaments with more than 19,000 participants worldwide.

Attendees can enjoy a fun and inspiring event while enjoying free food and soft drinks and taking part in hands-on activities, including the Virtual Reality (VR) “Escape Room Experience” developed by graduate students from the University of Idaho Department of Virtual Technology and Design, a photo booth featuring original art from WSU Fine Arts student Gracie Brown, and large coloring sheets from Doodlers Anonymous.

Featured speakers include:

  • Rayce Bird, a special effects artist and expert in virtual technology and design who is also a Virtual Technology and Design (VTD) instructor at University of Idaho.
