9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance

About the event

On September 11, join more than 40 million people across the county to fulfill a national commitment to serve on this National Day of Service and Remembrance. To pay tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11, the WSU Center for Civic Engagement is facilitating a variety of projects, including projects with Garfield and Jennings Elementary Schools, the WSU Organic Farm, Tukey Orchard, the City of Albion, Bishop Place Senior Living, Avalon Care Center, and Circles of Caring Adult Day Health. The CCE provides transportation for WSU students to these projects. Go to bit.ly/cceledservice to sign up.

In addition to these three projects, there numerous are opportunities throughout the Palouse listed online, including a special self-led project with the Moscow Salvation Army. Visit cce.wsu.edu/daysofservice to learn more about this National Day of Service, and visit CougSync through bit.ly/wsuservice to sign up for projects.
