WSU Press 22nd Annual Holiday Book Fair

About the event

WSU Press will host our 22nd holiday book fair on Thursday, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m.3 p.m., in the Terrell Library Atrium on the Pullman campus. An annual event, the fair highlights books published throughout the year. Festivities include steep discounts on all titles, drawings for free books, and complimentary refreshments.  All are welcome.

This year, attendees will be able to meet Executive Chef Jamie Callison, who will be on hand to sign his gorgeous cookbook, The Crimson Spoon: Plating Regional Cuisine on the Palouse, from noon to 1:00 p.m. At the same time, co-contributors Alex McGregor, Dick Scheuerman, and John Clement will sign their latest work—an ideal gift for farmers—Harvest Heritage: Agricultural Origins and Heirloom Crops of the Pacific Northwest.

Two other recent titles will be also available. A Yankee on Puget Sound details Edward Jay Allen’s indelible mark on Washington Territory, and Rugged Mercy chronicles thrilling tales of Idaho pioneer doctor Robert H. Wright.

Founded in 1928 and revitalized in the 1980s, WSU Press publishes books with a cultural or historical relationship to the Pacific Northwest. For more information about the book fair, contact WSU Press at 335-3518. Sale prices are also valid for phone orders placed December 4 – 6, 2013.
