Lunch and Learn: First Semester Learning Strategies

About the event

Get ready for the new semester with effective learning strategies for all majors! Do you need to learn how to most effectively learn and retain new concepts? Or maybe how to absorb long lists of information and terms? Jean Labauve, Learning Specialist, has got you covered. She will cover how to most effectively get information from text books, lectures, and notes and then demostrate understanding on quizzes and exams.

The Lunch & Learn series is sponsored by WSU Spokane Student Affairs with a grant from STCU. Lunches, (or (M)unches), are provided by WSU Student Affairs and ASEWU. Events occur every week with new topics and speakers each time. WSU Spokane students who RSVP to this event on CougSync by the day before the event will receive a free lunch. You can also RSVP at the Student Affairs window in the Academic Center. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
