About the event

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering will host the first annual Harold Sorensen Memorial Golf Tournament on Thursday, Sept. 11 at the Palouse Ridge Golf Course.  Check-in begins at 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.

Harold Sorensen was a popular professor, avid golfer, and supporter of students. In his honor, the Harold Sorensen Golf Tournament has been held for many years with participation from alumni, faculty, and civil engineering and construction management students. With his passing last year, the tournament has been renamed.

All proceeds from the event support club activities for WSU’s American Society of Civil Engineers and Associated Students of Construction Management.

Entry fee is $100/person or $400/foursome, which includes greens fees, golf cart, prizes, BBQ dinner, and awards ceremony.

Registration information is available at: http://www.cea.wsu.edu/content/RegistrationForm.pdf. The deadline is August 29.
